I was a lucky mom and got to go on Courtney's field trip with her. We went to a museum which had many different artifacts from the people who lived here a long time ago. We saw pottery, weapons and houses.

Courtney got to make an authentic mask. Just like the ones they had. She made it out of clay.
Then they got to go on a walk down to the houses they used to live in. They were huge and the kids got to go inside. There was a dirt floor and they even had a ladder going up to a sleeping area. It was made of straw and so Courtney calls it the little pigs house. She said it was pretty strong and she didn't think the big bad wolf could blow it down.
