Spring Break...Part 1

We had a wonderful spring break. We had many adventures and fun with our children. I am breaking this post into a few sections so you don't get bored reading for hours just to get through our week. We did so many wonderful things that I just want to share them with all of you. Dave took of Wed-Friday so those were our biggest days.

Monday- We spent cleaning and teaching our children the value of Work. This is something the new generation has forgotten and Dave and I feel it is important that the children know how to work and earn money. We set up a chore system for them to get paid, so the day was spent working, and cleaning.

Tuesday-  Swan Park

This is a park, not too far from our home. It has a small lake and a swan habitat. It was a beautiful park and a perfect day to go exploring with the kids.
The Japanese have the best playgrounds. (probably because they can because people take responsibility if they get hurt)  This one was a rope wall, bridge, huge slide. It was amazing. The kids spent lots of time playing on this.

Here is another picture of part of the playground. It was so much fun.
As you headed up the hill they had many steps, but the awesome part is the slide on the side to help you on the way down :)

At the top of the hill was this huge observation tower. It is a hike with lots of stairs to get up, but beautiful views await.

Here is part of the view from the top. The park, lake, gardens, and gardens with walkways. So beautiful.

At the top they also had a compass. Here is Courtney and the compass.

Even mom got in on the action. I played and road an awesome motorcycle.

Courtney hugging Landon to death. Loving the view and the lake.

Landon taking in the rays of sunshine, kickin' back on the lounge chair.

Marissa and Melanie Enjoyed our walk and playtime. They sure do love each other. So cute on the Fence.
Landon's balancing act. he is pretty talented.
That is Monday and Tuesdays fun. We had hard work and playing at the park. Stay tuned for the other days.
